New roleplay mod comming up! HUGE PICS!

    I'll re-code this from scratch - want anything serious and big changes? Post them.

    - I'll add money printers (Envolves 'thinking-functions' inside props)
    - I'll almost completely get rid of the npc's and let the players sell/buy things based on their job
    - Door owning will be more stable, i'll also add group-doors, so you can own a entire apartment by owning the front door (You have to sell some of the suites, violating this will get you banned)
    - Inventory will be changed around alot.
    - Maybe i'll even completely remove weapons.

    1) Make the cars have collision with players. - Sure they will run over people, but the cops will take care. And you got the anti mounted gun thing
    2) keep the weapons!

    I would like these:
    Prop spawning
    Props cost $5 to spawn
    Allow use of tools (Ignite, weld, rope)
    Replace anti car gun with horn
    Borrow some Dark RP scripts and use keys to knock on unowned doors
    Destructible doors
    Lock Picking (For theif, spy and Mob Boss jobs)
    Instead of stunning, handcuffs
    Mob Boss can unarrest people by picking the handcuff lock
    Demotion vote option (People can vote to demote job abusers)
    Mayor can order lockdown
    Gangsters and Mob Bosses can sell drugs (Drugs effect your vision)
    Raise the maximum amount of cash held to $10'000
    You don't lose cash if you die
    Cops can ram props (Ram props so they can move them out the way if they are blocking)
    Cops need warrant to ram (Cops have to get a warrant from the mayor to ram a door or prop)
    Mayor can unarrest and arrest people
    Make certain weapons illegal (RPG, assault rifle, S.L.A.M ect)
    Allow advertising ( type: /advert Come to the cafe today)
    Spy has silenced pistol and knife
    And add some events

    Add these jobs:
    Doctor
    Barman
    Chef
    Cafe owner
    Police officer (Accessed by vote)
    Police Cheif (Accessed by being cop and vote)
    Mayor (Accessed by vote)
    Gangster
    Mob Boss (Accessed by being a gangster and vote)
    Theif
    Spy (Accessed by being theif and vote)
    Gun Dealer (Accessed by vote)
    Security Guard

    Out of that whole list the only thing that can be done is the maps. 90% of all of that just cant be done.

    Well at least the prop spawningand destructible doors can defintely be done. But add a votemayor thing. And to keep the server fun add them one at a time so people don't have to wait to use these things. And please use the maps I showed you, please.

    Would you mind making your signature smaller, zombiedude? It's annoying.

    Prop spawning
    Props cost $5 to spawn
    - kinda useless, leads to spam and even more abuse

    Allow use of tools (Ignite, weld, rope)
    - Maybe i'll allow users to use material and colour, but dunno

    Replace anti car gun with horn
    - not possible, you can't turn of the jeep gun without turning off the vehicle or slaying the given user

    Borrow some Dark RP scripts and use keys to knock on unowned doors
    - i like the way it is at the moment, why change it?

    Destructible doors
    - Very Possible, and halfway done already.

    Lock Picking (For theif, spy and Mob Boss jobs)
    - Also not a hard thing to do, i'll take it into account

    - I'll also make people automatically follow you.

    Mob Boss can unarrest people by picking the handcuff lock
    - I'll also add this.

    Demotion vote option (People can vote to demote job abusers)
    - I'll create yet another vote thingy which even lets users vote for noclip on buildservers.

    Mayor can order lockdown
    - Well, uhm...

    Gangsters and Mob Bosses can sell drugs (Drugs effect your vision)
    - New inventory thingy makes this possible, needs DirectX 9.0 though. (Post processing)

    Raise the maximum amount of cash held to $10'000
    - I'll make it infinite actually

    You don't lose cash if you die
    - No, i'll add loosing cash if you die
    - You won't loose anything if you suicide. (Kill into the console)

    Cops can ram props (Ram props so they can move them out the way if they are blocking)
    - Done already.

    Cops need warrant to ram (Cops have to get a warrant from the mayor to ram a door or prop)
    - I'll add some weird warrant system.

    Mayor can unarrest and arrest people
    - That's what cops can do, too?

    - Since when is running around with any weapon legal? Dunno about laws in the US though.

    Can you make it so that if sv_cheats are turned on only admin can use. For example if I turn sv_cheats on for a few to change car color someone that is not a admin will not be able to go noclip.
    .Or make it so admin dont have to have sv_cheats on to use post processing.
    Full admin should be able to use everything I think. Like spawn a car or spawn anything

    RP is a gamemode where admins shouldn't get any advantages besides kicking and banning if it's beeing played correctly.

    Changing the color of a car or spawning a car is not really a advantage.

    Don't make so you lose $50 when you die, make it $10 when you die, then you won't lose so much and it is less annoying.

    Allow prop spawning, but make it so you are allowed to spawn a certain amount every 5 minuites, or if you spawn too much, it is ghosted and you have to interact with it to unghost it.

    Add something like a 4 seat car so more than one person can get in, then the rp is fun and more realistic.

    One thing I would definetly like is the destructible doors, have you added them yet?

    Fix the oviscity spawns, people are spawning on the roof sometimes.

    1 very important thing.

    Custom sweps!

    It would be very awesome to be SWAT and shoot a door open with a SPAS 12 or something and shout GET ON THE FLOOR instead of using the normal hl2 shotgun :|. And AR2 isn't realistic.

    Btw, what has been added to the server yet? :3

    Also, I got banned for a day for blocking the NPCs so I could do a proper rp.
    (I blocked the bank NPC so people would use the proper bank and rp properly, then I blocked the cop gun NPC so cops had to pay to get their guns just like everyone else, then I made it so people would have to pay me to get the gun from the dealer NPC, then it is more realistic and fun)

    P.S My gmod 9 sometimes crashes with the hl2.exe thing. Can this be fixed?

    Four seat car? Sounds very hard.. And the 10 dollars?
    What happens if you have like 1000 dollars.
    Make it so like you lose 10% percent of your cash.

    Add more seats to the current cars then car then, all you need to do is modify the cars with the seat vehicle. Add some guidelines, so people will rp properly and realisticly. Fix the oviscity train, and there are a few doors that you need cops to ram to open, and I got banned the other day after trying to use a prop to keep one open with the reason blocking.

    Actually, the only way to fix broken map-based doors is to remove them... But i could take a look if changing their keyvalues would help.
    I'll make it so you actually loose 10% of your money instead of a fixed amount - makes more sense imo.

    Noooo! I hate that kind of thing, it's so annoying to save up your money to buysomething, only to be killed and lose $100. Did you add the destructible doors, and one more thing, I saw 2 rp servers today, one said Facewan RP [Test]. Wtf
