Am i the only one being annoyed by people in spawn protect for extended periods of time its 25 seconds into the round and your the only one in spawn protect making impossible to kill you yet you can kill everyone else for example on big loop a few minutes ago about 20-25 seconds into the round give or take a few seconds guy is in the middle of the map in spawn protect KILLING EVERYONE IN SPAWN PROTECT MODE this only really happens on the first round because people have slower connections and spawn in later then others but it is really starting to become annoying as someone gets to shoot me and i'm to just stand there and die because he cant be killed how is this any better then not having spawn protect and being able to at least defend your self there needs to be a rule set aside for this just as there is on the death match server and being in jail in spawn protect mode.... Is there a way to have a better spawn protect one that isn't based off when you spawn but rather time into the round.
You are always going to run into similiar problems if players spawn near eachother like it is usually the case in surfmaps. Also, use some punctuation, your wall of text is really hard to read One solution would be to prevent people who still have godmode from shooting. I can write sourcemod plugins, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to create a custom spawn protection that fits our needs
Sorry not the best with grammar as anyone who knows me well enough can tell you. Both preventing people from shooting in spawn protect and removing it if them shoot are both good ideas either of them is fine by me.
Someone is ALWAYS going to find a reason to bitch. But then again, this thread WAS made by a person that cares about numbers on a random server. We people that play for fun don't tend to give a fuck about such things. Grow up please.
Don't make this thread somethings its not.... You cant tell me if you saw someone in spawn protect shooting at you in jail on a ramp whatever it may be and you couldn't defend your self and shoot back you wouldn't find it the slightest bit annoying. Its not fun when someone can shoot me in god mode it has nothing to do with numbers if you honestly believe i care about these numbers you are mistaken but you're entitled to your own opinion.
If people dont want spawn protection on surf dm server, there allways must be an experienced admin to keep an eye on the server.
