It has come to my attention that clients are deciding not to play in our servers for a few reasons. I don't blame anyone I am not lecturing or harassing this is just what I seen as an admin for FaceWAN over 3 years. . This just happened recently - No group weld tools in the build servers . Not many things to really do in the roleplay server as far as lua coding goes . Never has been any regular updates. - This would attract people and keep them active, it would give everyone something to look up to which is what if you ask me is what FaceWAN really needs. . Never has really been any tool updates / or fixes - which would make me happy and if it made me happy it more than likely would make everyone happy. . If these things were taken care of in my eye everyone would be playing FaceWAN servers a lot more and if there were enough people constantly on admins would have a chance at running their own events again and so on. I hope everyone took the time to read this and we all see some improvement in the population .
Actually, Garry's Mod 9 seems to be dying. A lot of people who were regulars on the Garry's Mod 9 RP server have switched to Garry's Mod 10 or just stopped playing Garry's Mod in general.
The germans, they ruined gmod9, plus it's about time to let gmod9 die, it won't take long until valve finally kills it with their updates
I think it's a whole big vicious circle that is killing gmod 9. Admins don't want to play because there are no players (that's just what I think), but then players don't want to play because there are no admins online. It died back in february when all the admins stopped playing, a few came back, and then it became popular again. Now the same thing is happening.
Easier said than done if i knew all the lua codes I would not be on here would I? How bout you write some codes? This is me doing something about it...
We are getting more people in the server now due to the fact we are the only community with working servers. Drogenviech updates the code still, some things just can't be done with gmod9 lua.
