Recently, Valve has added a new gun in the game: I've got surprised that you can buy a powerful gun like that just after the pistol round, it is basically a pocket version of AWP, dealing the same amount of damage (115) and it has a great accurate range. At one side, it's interesting they're trying to eliminate the necessity for eco rounds, but at the other, I think this will damage the game in a long run, since it's too accessible and it's a matter of timing to charge the shot and kill the enemy with an ease, making it a broken weapon. What are your thoughts about it?
I have yet to use it, but from what I hear it's OP as fuck. It's basically like a one hit kill deagle.
I've got informed about a funny detail, and I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Inside the Buy Menu, it's showing "$850" as the price cost, but when you buy it, it actually removes only "$700". Valve really screwed up this update, I hope everyone is ready for some intense pistol rounds. lol
This whole update is basically one giant disaster: They decided to change rifle recoil for some reason that I am still not sure of. They reduced moving accuracy on most of the pistols and then added a pistol that is 100% accurate when moving. In competitive, they changed the round time and bomb timer to 1:55 and 40 for no real reason. They also forced this on major events as well which is fucking stupid because 1:45 and 35 were perfectly fine. Valve didn't communicate with anyone beforehand, instead they just tossed out this dogshit right before a fucking $250,000 prize pool event which forces them to use the previous version of the game. It'd really be nice if there was some communication between the players and the devs, but knowing Valve, that isn't happening ever. Edit: And on top of all this, they randomly made settings auto-detect which is pointless for most players who ran the game at low for 250+ FPS.
Yeah its probably the worst thing they have done to the game yet. I probably wont be playing until the nerf it.
The nerf has fixed it. We did some testing> Left click shots average 80-90 damage Right clicks can sometimes be instant kills but they have a LOT of recoil. The "spin-up" or hammer cocking time is also delayed further. I am now okay with it.
The gun is still pretty fucking ridiculous right now and has no place in the competitive scene of CS, but at least it wasn't as bad as before. Now, hopefully they'll fix up their stupid shit on the rifles and pistols.
