Just bought a new VPS Servers Windows (haha) <Dont feel like learning linux and plus I know basiclly nothing about it |Noobcake| 768 Ram (Ive had 512 before and ran this server on windows and it was fine.. Dont need that much anyway) -I hope they have 100mbps connection but the only hosts I could find offering that were in the uk lol And thats basiclly it.. Dont really list anything else about there servers.. Even though I dont consider them servers with this little ram.. (I bet someone comments this thread saying there not servers anyway) Oh and by the way.. This is kinda all for my friend in a way. He plays World of Warcraft and im gonna host this private server thing for him.. Which ive done all before when I used to play this obsessing game. Yet I guarantee you.. (Well hopefully) I wont get obsessed out of this. lol I hope this all works out.. Tell me all your comments/tips/flames I will hopefully be able to donate to FaceWan tomorrow too. :D EDIT: I would say my host but I would'nt want to post it on here If anything I recommend Espeon's work if your planning on buying a real "dedicated" server. I did do alot of VPS searching last night, but out of the dedicated hosting I also saw on those sites.. It did seem like Espeon's was the best. If your planning on buying one from there be sure to contact Espeon before you do. He can get comission off sales according to him.
Why get a Virtual Private Server when you can get a dedicated server with 100mbit and unlimited bandwidth and a wide range of OS selection for €19.99 a month. As you were saying these are in the UK, but the price is really good. Behold: the OVH Kimsufi. Also, Elite and I rent a box from Serverpronto for stuff.
Espeon showed me some things and recommended etc, but I bought fast. And out of all he had showed me it was things I either wasn't looking for or didn't want to pay that much. That is a pretty good deal. Better than mine in a way. I only had to pay $15 for the first month, and the server is for a really good friend of mine so I didn't know how long it would be going anyway. After the first month it is $30 a month. I dont know anything about Euro dollars etc. I could add more to this, but I would rather see if I get any mean flaming comments or good information
