I was recently playing on the Garry's Mod 9 role play server but there was one problem, no one was role playing. Everyone was just flaming each other and looking for someone who was planting S.L.A.M.s in the subway tunnel. I was wondering if there could be a new Garry's Mod 9 role play server that is private so only members of FaceWAN can only join. Not only members of the group but members of the forum. I think this would prevent the problem of people not role playing. Thanks in advance.
Hm, that's a good idea, I could set the password to it and make a post only members can see. I'll talk to lucid and see if I can set something up like that.
that is easy just set up a members flag so that you would have to have a password and the flag to get into the server. i like it :}
Think there should be a public rp and private if the public is taken away = loss of a lot of players. Just post the password on the forums for the private server than see if people actually play there I am thinking it would take a long while before anyone really played there and for the server to have a daily population
Yea i agree to what brando said. I mean a private server.. for example look at the NEW SERVER TESTING.. it has the newest updates and all. but no one plays there well except for lucid 1ns in a while. And a private server... it has a pass means, People wil have to spend some time searching the Pw before they can enter means 99% of players stop right there.. To get a new private rp server realy started it wil take long time And to just run jet another empty server is just waste of $/ time & pc um power um what ever its called. also i think slowly but surely the time of RP on gmod9 has come to a end. People are starting to move on to other games. If u just watch facewan is actualy pretty much the only rp server at gm9 that stil has daily visitors. And they actualy just come in server fck around get them self arrested. than they get mad cause they get jailed and or stunned go dm the cop back find them self even more stunned. dm even more get banned and leave.. i mean rp already died and i realy like the idea of a private rp server where everyone can roleplay in peace. But to be truly honest with you guys i think roleplay has realy come to a end. All serious roleplayers moved on lucid is working i dont know for ever on his um masterpiece project with build rp and what so ever.. but this project finish will come to late.. cause at that time gmod9 wil be dead. And another thing just look and try find some good gmod 9.0.4c downloads. all links start dissapearing.. *sigh* i type to much here. ow well just sharing my point of view. Nicole A.K.A MoonBunny.
