This is me trying to get a old Fly-back transformer from an CRT TV. Using this, I should have been able to get a desent arc of kilovolts. However it did not work as I wanted it to. I think I my input was so great that I blew my transistor or my 2 watt resister...T_T..... However, until I get new parts, I will be at a stand-still. Oh if you were wondering why im doing this, First im bored and seconds I love High Voltage xD!!! Im planning to buy a NST (Neon Sign Transformer) from this guy in my city. I hope its will have enough juice to melt some copper!!.. here's some of my pics... If you want to learn how to get HV in the most easiest cheapest way, post it so i can tell you. Adios mates.
