Gmod doesnt start

    When i start gmod it crashes when its loading the start menu :(

    There is a message but its in german: "Die Anweisung in "0x2421b227" verweist auf Speicher in "0x0e89b138". Der Vorgang "read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden."

    Pls can someone help me?

    Thats just a generic error for Half Life 2 crashing, it might be an issue with gmod or steam itself if other source games are doing it too.

    Interesting that it's in German though.
    But yeah, that's usually what Gmod throws when it crashes. A memory read error.

    the error is at every game of steam

    now i deinstalled all things of steam and now i am downloading the stuff again:)

    Probably a blob file fuckup.

    A reinstall would more than likely fix it.
