    And trust me, I know the feeling. I spent a small hour yesterday fixing my cables for my X-Mini speakers out of boredon. (The wires were getting worn out)
    Heat shrink looks lovely on it though !

    True. It is good and a bit fun to try to repair thing though

    I think my soldering iron just overheated the SOC chip on PS2 board. Well next time (or never) i think i should buy a solderingsless chip xD
    My soldering skills is weak on small electronics.

    Woot. Got another console and softwaremodded. Runs backup games from the slim computer below running ubuntu-server with samba share :D:
    Runs Half-Life, Crash Bandicoot, GTA SA etc lagfree

    A question for you guys... I have a PS3 that only works via RGB and HDMI gets no signal. Tried to hold power button to reset video mode (2 beeps). But nah.. the PS3 boots straight to XMB menu. Tried to switch from Component to HDMI in Video Settings. Nope nope. Tried Factory Defaults from hidden boot menu. Nope...

    Disassembled the fucing PS3 to check te HDMI port for damage. Nope.. still fine and none bend or broken pins. What the hell is this shit? xD Looks like this damn system is ignoring everything with HDMI

    I don't know anything about the MGS series(never played it), but it seems like it was a really fucking awful idea from Konami to get rid of Kojima.

    So i went Paddle Boarding for the first time today and if you haven't tried it yet you must! Its pretty fun, but yea that's pretty much all i did today :)

    Been a while since I last visited this forum, but I'll try being more active I guess.
    Since last time I was here a few things have been going on.
    I completed my apprenticeship and got a job as a toolmaker which is the reason why I have moved out on my own now.
    And things are just going at a slow pace from here on... I wish to buy a new car soon and I hope it will become reality now that I've paid off some debt I used to have which is nice.
