Origin isn't a bad client. The people who say it is are just saying that to hate on EA. Performance is a shit load better than Steam and it isn't bloated with as many useless features. They do this free game offer thing rather often so it is worth it. Finally, to top it off, EA actually has a game return policy that is really fucking awesome if you plan on buying games from their store. If you really want a bad digital distribution client, try Uplay.
My Origin likes to crash my games when I have the overlay turned on. There's probably a solution but I don't give enough fucks to fix it. That said, I've already picked this up from another friend. Thanks for the thread though
