As much as I hate to say it, I don't think many people would actually enjoy this. As far as I know, it's not even being made by Bethesda, it's being made by Zenimax. Bethesda is shit, but at least they had proper experience working with Elder Scrolls(even if they fucked everything up in Skyrim). Plus, you have to get the special edition or pre-order shit just to get an extra race which is absolutely fucking stupid. I guess people should try it out before making their judgment, but I almost guarantee that 90% of the playerbase will think the game is shit. I say if people are interested in Elder Scrolls, do yourself a favor and buy/play Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim.
I'm not a fan of open world PVP games. I mean the cinematic does look very well done though! I don't see myself willing to dish out the money required for it though.
Thats why you play the free beta weekends! Because fuck monthly subscription fees when you can play similar games for free.
Skyrim was the first Elder Scrolls game I set myself into and completed the story-line of and I wish to do Oblivion sometime. However, having played Guild Wars 2 and stuff which I don't know if it's even relevant to compare that to Elder Scrolls Online but I'll do it anyways. Problem for me seems like that I wouldn't be able to see myself playing this and actually enjoying this. If anything, they should of like released a new game like Skyrim but which also should have like a CO-OP mode so you can play with your friends through the story. That would be a big selling hit for me at least. Edit: Video below would address my feelings for the direction this is going and what the game would turn up as in the end: (Better start modding Skyrim)
Well to each their own. To me, it looks like the game has really boring combat, greedy devs, and a really ass-fucked story line(though I didn't expect any wonders after Skyrim). Oh well, enjoy the game.
