Recabling Nightmare

    So I worked with people in the office here to recable all the core switches for the datacenter along with the patch panels. I worked for 8 1/2 hours yesterday and 4 1/2 hours today and finally managed to get it looking nice.

    Below are the before and after pictures of the recabling:

    Before it was a spaghetti mess of cables.

    After everything, all the cables were condensed into a nice neat bundle, and one of the switches was moved into the same cabinet as the rest of the network equipment.

    Stuff like this makes me want to do computer-stuff as my job even more, even if sorting cables around is boring as fuck :D

    I second Seif.
    I would sit down and cry if I had to deal with that... I'd probably forget which wire goes to which switch too lol
