hey, I had a version of Gmod9 but I deleted it. I re-installed it and then I had this problem of my game's images and letters getting all weird and funky. its very, very annoying, because when I'm trying to do something major all of a sudden it corrupts on me. I know there is a console command to fix this, but I have forgotten it! Anyone help me out, please?

    What appid are you using?
sometimes using the steamappid for HL2:DM works better.

Yeah, try using 320 and see if it helps any with the text corruption.

yes but people tell me to change it to 220 if i want to connect to the Facewan server 1, but i can't do that because the text corrupts and to prevent that i'm told to change it to 320 or 215...I'm confused...

No, FaceWAN does not use 220 anymore, there was a huge post about how we had to upgrade. 320 or 215 will work (most people use 215, but 320 also works for people that can't use 215)
